Queens Of The Stone Age, one of the biggest and most influential rock bands of the past decades, are coming to Zagreb’s Šalata Stadium on Tuesday, July 22, and Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
After last year’s concerts were canceled due to health reasons, QOTSA are returning this summer with new shows at the city’s favorite open-air venue.
Regularly hailed as one of the best live bands in the world, QOTSA consists of Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore. What began as desert jam sessions has grown into an undeniable musical powerhouse — a band without which the world’s biggest arenas and festivals would be unimaginable. In the coming months, they’re returning to stages across Europe and the U.S.
The Zagreb performance will serve as a live promotion of their latest release, but the backbone of every Queens Of The Stone Age concert remains the songs that have earned their place in rock history as some of the best works of the past two decades — including “No One Knows,” “Go With The Flow,” “Little Sister,” “My God Is the Sun,” “Feel Good Hit of the Summer,” “First It Giveth,” and “Make It Wit Chu.”
QOTSA began their discography with their acclaimed self-titled debut in 1998, marking the start of their rise to global fame. Over the next seven years, the band released four masterpieces — *Rated R*, *Songs for the Deaf*, *Lullabies to Paralyze*, and *Era Vulgaris* — delivering more rock hits than many bands manage in an entire career, most of which still remain staples of their live setlists today. Their Billboard #1 album, the brilliant *…Like Clockwork* (2013), continued their streak of success, followed by *Villains* and their latest critically acclaimed release, *In Times New Roman…*, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
As an ambitious band that refuses to fit into any single mold, QOTSA have released eight albums filled with hits, earning multiple Grammy nominations and consistently ranking among the best albums of their time. They are a true example of a multidimensional musical story that transcends its own genre. It’s undeniably rock, but delivered with the unique musical vision that only Homme and his band can bring to life. You’ll have the chance to experience it this summer at Zagreb’s Šalata Stadium.
